Message Requests, Notifications & Privacy
Control who can send you direct messages and how to handle incoming message requests from people you do not follow.
To prevent unwanted spam and maintain a respectful community, messages from users you do not follow or who are not mutual friends are routed to your "Message Requests" tab.
Managing Message Requests
- Preview messages without the sender knowing you have read them.
- Click "Accept" to move the thread into your primary inbox.
- Click "Decline" or "Block" to prevent further communication.
